Admission Criteria
Camp Kingsmont is a residential fitness and weight loss camp for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 18. Camp opens for campers on
Sunday June 21, 2009 and will operate on the campus of Hampshire College in Amherst, MA for eight (8) weeks through Saturday August 15, 2009.
Hampshire College is located at 893 West Street, Amherst, MA 01002.
All campers should either be overweight or have struggled with their weight in the past. Kingsmont is also recommended for campers who have shed
significant weight and want to keep it off, or for campers who are accompanying a sibling or friend to provide emotional support.
Camp Kingsmont will not admit campers with significant medical issues that require hospitalization. Campers with emotional disorders or a
history of violence or behavioral issues must discuss their individual situation with our camp psychologist prior to admission.
Camp Kingsmont reserves the right to send a camper home without refund if they are unmanageable or pose a physical threat to other
campers or the staff. Camp Kingsmont also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make the determination on a camper-by-camper basis.
